I, ʿAbd al- Raḥmān ibn Khālid, ask my Lord for His [mer]cy.
A five-line prayer by ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Khālid ibn al-ʿĀṣ al-Makhzūmī: “I, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Khālid, ask my Lord for His mercy.” The end of the fourth line is damaged. The verb asʾalu is written أسل without the medial hamzah seat, as in other early texts (QMI-INS-006b), and Khālid is written without the long alif.
