I am Yazīd ibn Yuḥannas. My Lord is God.
On a sandstone face under a rock overhang in the Tabūk region, among other inscriptions and rock drawings, Yazīd ibn Yuḥannas wrote three short lines: his name in the first person, followed by a declaration of faith, “my Lord is God” (rabbī Allāh).
