May God forgive Sahm, client (mawlā) of Abū Zurʿah. O God, accept his pilgrimage (ḥajjah). Āmīn, Lord of the Worlds. And may God forgive Maḥmūd al-Abram al-Sammān, client of Yaʿmar ibn Ḥabīb, and accept his pilgrimage too. And it was written in the year eighty-two.
Like the Ṭāʾif Dam and Ḥafnat al-Abyaḍ inscriptions elsewhere in this corpus, this text prays for two people at once — Sahm and Maḥmūd al-Abram al-Sammān, both identified as mawālī (clients) of different patrons — asking specifically that their ḥajj (pilgrimage) be accepted, one of the few inscriptions in the catalog tied explicitly to the pilgrimage rite itself.
