Lord, do not disgrace Ḥakīm ibn ʿImārah. In the name of God, “so glorify your Lord's praise before the ris- ing of the sun and before its setting, and in part of the night glorify Him, and at the ends of the day, that you may be pleased” [cf. Q 20:130]. And Ḥakīm ibn ʿImārah wrote [this], in the year four and eighty. May God forgive him his sin. Āmīn.
Opens with a personal plea ("Lord, do not disgrace Ḥakīm") before quoting a Qurʾanic verse on glorifying God at set times of day (cf. Ṭā Hā 20:130), then closes with a standard forgiveness formula — combining three distinct registers (personal petition, scripture, prayer) in a single short text.
