A graffito on a column of the Church of Saint Gabriel at Kos, mentioning an expedition (ġazwa) against “the polytheists” (mushrikūn) and dated to the year 99 AH (718–719 CE). The reading is very lacunary: the beginnings of most lines are lost, and the word that follows ġazwa and the name of the expedition cannot be identified. Imbert proposes an unidentified place-name for it.
