  3. آمين وكتب في سنة سبع
  4. ومية (ومائة)

May God have mercy on al-Zammār ibn al-Ṭayyib. Āmīn. And [it] was written in the year seven and one hundred.

A four-line prayer for mercy, dated in the text to the year 107 AH (725–726 CE), in the caliphate of Hishām ibn ʿAbd al-Malik. It opens with the early formula taraḥḥama Allāh ʿalā, “may God have mercy on”, names the man prayed for, closes with āmīn, and then gives the date. The writer does not name himself, so the text is a prayer made for al-Zammār by another hand, as in the two inscriptions for Yazīd ibn Muʿāwiyah ibn Ḥazn (QMI-INS-003c, QMI-INS-003d).
